Reflective Note 5

I feel like I am finally getting the hang of WordPress.  My tendency has been to set it up as a website.  I used some of the photos from my recent trip to Alaska in the headers to liven it up.

Creating the Assessment Taxonomy table was difficult in my opinion.  I have the activities I use for the course but I seemed to struggle a bit putting it in the table.

I connected with our Educational Support Services team to discuss setting the stage for learning.  I think if I focus more on the competencies and the idea that the competencies answer the question “What will the learner be able to do?”  Then making the objectives of the learning SMART!

The readings were very beneficial.  The History and Evolution of the Assessment Movement was particularly interesting from the “Best Practices in e-Assessment” by Nicole A. Buzzetto-More and Ayodele Julius Alade.

Working towards the Final Project will help bring all of this together.
